EUROVEA is a complex of administrative buildings, appartements and a shopping mall at one place. EUROVEA GALLERY is the only grand shopping center located in the city center, on the riverside of Danube river. It is the one of the newest shopping center finished in 2010, considered to be the most modern one.
Except many shops in this area, Eurovea also offers a new promenade riverside of Danube – an ideal place for walking and leisure time activities. The surroundings of the shopping center is very beautiful.
Opening hours vary, but the shops are open from 10:00 till 21:00. See the official opening hours website for further information.
As Eurovea is located in the city center, it is easily reachable by following the Danube river from the Old Town area downstream. It takes about 10-12min on foot from the heart of the city to reach the shopping mall.
Shopping center is located in the very city center, jut nearby the Slovak national theater. Accessing Eurovea by car is fairly easy. It is located at "Pribinova" street and has its own parking place, which is completely free during the weekends and free for 3 hours per day during the week days.
Šafárikovo námestie square is a significant public transport knot in the city center. Many trams and some buses stop there, and from here that is only 5 minutes by walk to the Eurovea Gallery. (*Currently, until year 2016, there are massive infrastructural reconstructions going on around Šafárikovo námestie square and trams exclude this stop from the route. The closest bus stop is "Mala Scena".)
However, bus number 28 and 133 still stop directly in front of the Eurovea Gallery and the stop is called Nová budova SND (Eurovea).
